This is the large photo album that was assembled by Marie Ready when she and Lyle got married on June 1, 1946. It begins with photos of their wedding, and their friends and relatives weddings and continues through the births of their children. Marie suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease, and when the symptoms began to manifest themselves and after the loss of her eldest son in 1975, she stopped adding to this album.
There are several photos and newspaper clippings that she placed between the pages of the album in the 1970’s and after. But no further photos were lovingly affixed to its pages with black corner holders. Click the album pages below to view the individual photos.
